Let me tell you a little more about myself. I moved to the Temecula Valley in 1980 when there were only two main roads, and ranches on every corner. I grew up in town and watched the area develop into a wonderful family community, enriched with many parks and activities for people of all ages. My grade school education took place in the Temecula Unified School District, I played competitive soccer in town, and even belonged to the Temecula Teen council which helped guide area development. Through the council, myself and a few select other students were able to convince city officials of the benefit of a Community Recreation Center and a local skate park, both of which are still open and host to events such as competitions, adult and youth sports leagues, and fine arts performances. I have been practicing Real Estate in this area since I was old enough to have a license; in fact I paid my way through college thanks to my experience, progressive thinking and approach.
After graduating from Pepperdine University in 2002, I worked briefly on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at NBC, but finally decided to return to the business and town I knew best. Today, my wife Sarah and I both live and work in the Valley. Living in town and watching the area develop has given me an unparalleled knowledge of the area, and my easy going yet "never say die" attitude has always kept me in good standing with all of my past clients. Grattan Donahoe began his real estate career over a decade ago working with two highly recognized brokers in the Temecula Valley. Grattan started as an executive assistant processing files and maintaining extensive marketing campaigns that led his three-person team to several consecutive years of top sales honors. Within one year of developing proven real estate techniques, Grattan received his license and became an even more valuable member of the team by generating sales of his own.
With three years of real estate and community service experience, Grattan left for Malibu and attended college at the prestigious Pepperdine University. Grattan's leadership qualities were noticed right away, leading to his election of president of the Beta Theta Pi pledge class. In his junior and senior year, Grattan was named the director of Pepperdine's local cable news program, and won top honors as "Director of the Year," and the "Production Leadership" awards, all while maintaining honor roll status.
Upon graduation, Grattan accepted a job at NBC in Burbank, working on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Grattan was the liaison between the guests on the show and the producers, and was responsible for coordinating high profile arrivals and appearances. This unique and invaluable experience taught Grattan the importance of tailoring products and services to meet the needs of different clientele, and solidified his ability in providing quality individual service.
Today, as the Broker/Owner of Donahoe & Associates, Grattan continues to provide outstanding service to anyone looking to sell, purchase, or maintain real estate in Southwest Riverside and San Diego County. Grattan is also very active in the community as a local consultant, and corporate sponsor of local animal shelters including Animal Friends of the Valley.
